Project Name：Beishan Underground Laboratory Project 

Project Description：The inclined shaft of the China Beishan Underground Laboratory is approximately 7.2 km long and 7.03 m in diameter. It uses 20-inch heavy-duty roller cutters and relies on "Beishan No. 1", the world’s first steep-sloped spiral tunnel TBM, for the entire excavation.

Geological Condition：The TBM section of the Beishan Laboratory passes through granite strata with a uniaxial saturated compressive strength exceeding 230 MPa and a quartz content of 25%-30%

Cutter Solution：Relying on extensive engineering project experience, years of technical expertise, and an accurate understanding of customer needs, the company carries out business processes including material selection, cutter selection, product design, and machining and assembly. Cutters were designed to suit the extremely hard rock conditions of Beishan.
